Did you know that Cookies were invented by accident?
It happens in the 1930s, when an American pastry chef ran out of cocoa for his butter cookies but used a sweet chocolate bar instead. Surprisingly, the chocolate pieces didn’t melt in the oven and when I served the innovative cookies at her cafe, it was a big hit!
