GIANDUIA: A LOVE STORY BETWEEN CHOCOLATE AND HAZELNUTS
Glass bottle - 700 ml
It was Michele Prochet, an experienced pastry chef from Turin, a city in the North of Italy, to invent gianduia. As cocoa was too expensive, he substituted part of it with some cheaper powder of toasted hazelnuts and the result was simply delicious. Gianduia – the official Carnival character of Turin – distributed the chocolates for the first time in 1865 and it was a great success.
POLOT 1882 gianduia syrup is sweet like chocolate and creamy like hazelnuts… How could you resist it?
