AMARETTO: A FIVE-HUNDRED-YEAR-OLD ITALIAN PASSION
Glass bottle - 700 ml
Amaretto is an Italian liquor made with bitter almonds and sugar. Its origins date back to the XVI century, when a fresco in the cathedral of Saronno, in the North of Italy, was commissioned to the Italian painter Bernardino Luini. During his stay in the city, he fell hopelessly in love with the beautiful owner of an inn. The young girl gifted him with an amber-colored liqueur which spread and became known all around the world with the name of Amaretto.
POLOT 1882 amaretto syrup is delicate and aromatic. The centuries-old tradition and the unique almond aftertaste make the syrup an irresistible specialty to be discovered sip after sip.
